Don't rush to the hospital you get there and then have to walk the halls for like forever. Ever make 100 laps in the hospital the walls are drab and bare and very few windows or other entertainment either. In other words Good Luck.<br />BTW it was not all that bad 28hrs later and then they decide to do a c-section on the wife. I lost about 2 days worth of sleep or more through all of it because how the hell do you sleep in one of those fold out hospital chairs and I did not want to leave the wife and baby plus by then I was too worn out to drive. At least she got some morphene and such and was able to sleep some.

Congratulations Magster. I am sure your baby has been born. Enjoy them now for they grow up too fast.<br /><br />PFB, I know what you went through. They tried to induce my wife. 29 hours of labor, then the C-section. I don't know how the wife did it. My job was easy I just had to stay awake and coach her through the contractions.

As a retired paramedic make it easy on fellow comrades and don't wait til the last minute. I Have delivered five in my time. The most interesting was in the Back seat of VolksWagon.<br /><br />Still can't figure out how and why he put her in the back seat. I think maybe he was originally from somewhere in Kentucky............

Howdy! Just back from the hospital for a shave and a shower. We had a 7 1/2 lb. baby boy at 4:15 Valentines Day! All's well but we're going to stay at the hospital tonight to be safe. Thanks for the kind words and support folks! Gotta run!
