I wonder if the permit was denied or if he never applied for one.

In the case of the former it makes the officials look like typical stupid bureaucrats. Or if the latter, it looks like a PR stunt with an obvious calculated outcome. I mean really, what red blooded American isn't going to support him. Donating the "winnings" seals the deal.

I'd like to jump on the bandwagon too, but I'll hold my praise until I have more facts.

It's about time the big player's who havd gained so much from this country give a little back. More voices like his (big money) are needed to stand up and be counted.
