official evinrude repair manual??? OMC?

Anyone know what the official factory repair manual is for a 83 115hp evinrude? And where I can get it? I keep seeing Clymer and Seloc but these aren't detailed enough. I also keep seeing OMC mentioned but can't ever find an 83 OMC evinrude manual, only other years. (What/who is OMC anyways?)<br /><br />Thanks

They went bankrupt in 2001. Certain assets of the company (Johnson/Evinrude names) were purchased by Bombardier Co., Ltd.

Check your local library.<br /><br />They probably don't have factory manuals (who does), but the Clymers, Chiltons and others, should have the good stuff.<br /><br />Mine has some well-worn and grimy copies, covering various makes, models and years.

I don't think they sell any for 1980 and up...

fsds,<br /><br />I bought the original (OEM) manual from an Evinrude dealer for my 1983 90 hp. I believe it was $37.00
