what exactly is reverse polarity in respect to different magnetos?![]()
What??? By the way, how does a motor with no pee hole cool itself?
will refrain from commenting.
but where does the heated water go? or how does it cool the motor?Thousands upon thousands of outboard engines were manufactured before the water telltale feature came into existence. The telltale was just an added feature (late 1970's) to visually allow the boater to have an idea of the water pressure being exerted via the water pump. It has nothing to do with the actual cooling of the engine.
To different magnetos?... I haven't a clue.
However, all magneto magnets have two poles, a north pole and a south pole. The "north" pole swinging past the coils would be a positive polarity, the second "south" pole would be as negative polarity. At least that's how I've always looked at it.
Why do you ask?

its an open system.....cold water in.....hot water out . just no tell tale to confirm it.
