Can anyone out there tell me how heavy their Obrien Ricochet kneeboard is?

I bought one used and over time its weight has really bugged me. I can still catch good air on it, but I hate putting the thing in and out of the boat. I feel like maybe the prior owner by leaving it sit outside allowed the thing to absorb moisture and now it is heavier? Is this a possibility?

The board is totally sun faded from being left outside, if that matters.

I don't know that model, but knee boards are either rotation-molded (less expensive, thicker cross section, hollow) or compression molded (thinner like a water ski).

Don't think you could waterlog the second. Find leak, drill hole to drain. Patch leak and patch drain hole.

It's compression molded. I will try to weigh it when I get home. The sucker is way heavy.
