Ok, I have 2 options. I was at West Marine and they have Celebrity 64 combo skis (The ones I was gonna get)...but they also have a kidder waterski package that comes with Combo Skis, a Tow Rope, and cheap vest(which is useless since my son already has a neoprene Sea Doo one..) Soo, which on do I go for... Are Kidder's good skis? The package is 150...the O'Brien Celebrities are also 150...soo idk ...help?

Re: O'Brien or Kidder

Are you set on buying them at West Marine and getting either of those two pair?
I mean that is great if they are available and you want them this weekend.

As others have said, if you spend a bit more, you can get something with better bindings (thicker rubber with a neoprene or foam layer, a foot pad, better adjusting hardware, and more support) At that $150 price point you sort of get what you pay for: Variations on each company's entry level skis which are essentially similar.

Buy the one's with the most comfortable bindings or best graphics and enjoy.

If you're in less of a hurry, perhaps consider something used (better gear, but less money because it is used) or add another $100 and get similar skis but much better bindings. I'm pretty cheap so like to buy stuff used.
