So I am looking to get into skiing this upcoming Summer and found a pair of unused O'brien Freestyles for $25.00, just curious if these are a good ski to use/learn on? I'm also guessing that $25.00 is a decent deal? thanks

I have skied on them in the past and they were good. The only problem I could see you running into would be if the rubber on the bindigs has become brittle. Definitely worth checking out.

They are a fine ski and that is a good price. But like willy said above, make sure the bindings are soft and pliable with absolutely no tears. Without the bindings, due to a failure, the skies are worthless, as new skis can be had for about the same price as replacing a full set of bindings.

If you buy them, keep them out of the sun, or it they must be in the sun, keep them upside down. Sunlight is the #1 enemy of bindings.
