ny boat ramps

Hello. I am new to boating. I am from bronx and would like to know if anyone knows of nearby boat ramps where i can launch so i can fish. the few i know seem to be closed for the season.

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,....

There's a Bunch of Marinas along under the Whitestone, on up to City Island,...
Can't believe they're All, all done for the year...

NYState must have something down along that way too,... Donno...

Don't remember the street names anymore,...
I lived down there a couple years, 20 odd years ago...
Used to be a dead-end down on the point below Castle Hill,...
There was an unimproved sorta ramp there....
Just east, 'n to the water from the big projects...

You can come up to the Glen Island Park boat ramp...they do require a Westchester Parks pass and Launch Tickets during the season, but now the booth is empty and the ramp is still open....

i passed through glen island today and the ramp i guess is closed because it had a chain which prevents anyone from launching. It was about 4:30pm. don't know if they open earlier.
