Hello Tohatsu Nissan gurus

I downloaded a fsm for a newly acquired ns70a2 360-1 runs great but but sputters a little at low and part throttle under load so I want to go through all the settings and get it back up to snuff

I have built carb sync tools in the past for old motorcycles and got them running perfect but I don't see vacuum ports on these carbs anywhere

The fsm I downloaded is really vague about setting the timing and I don't even see a timing mark on the flywheel lol

Hopefully someone has better detailed info than I have found for setting up the carbs

I got the link between the carbs to exactly 110mm, and I noticed the idle screw and pilot screws were all set to 2.5 turns so I corrected them and plan to set them next time we're at the lake

Thanks for any guidance
Matt

Just using factory settings on the pilot and idle screw it idled a touch high but seems to be good settings for the pilots

I still really wish I could figure out how to sync the carbs

If they both close completely at idle, you should be good.
