Now what is it doing...

Got the boat running again after replacing switch box, rectifier, and starter. Now when I start it within half a minute or so I get a "mini" back fire which looks like it is coming from around the fuel pump. Haven't taken anything apart yet but wanted to see if someone on here has had experience.

Ok, I've found the problem.. damn it..just when all is going good. Turns out this is a cover of some sort for the lower cylinder and it was missing a bolt and the other was just about to fall out. Looks like it built up pressure and blew the gasket out since the bolts were missing/loose. Where do I get another gasket or can I get a gasket like sealant?

Ok, I've identified the gasket as a transfer port intake gasket. $6 online.
