I've seen a neat hitch receiver plug. You know for that square hole left in your hitch receiver when you pull out the draw bar? Anyway, this plug had the 2" square bar supporting a model outboard motor, complete with spinning propeller. The one I saw today was a "Mercury 250" model outboard motor. Does anyone know where I can get one of these? It was really neat and I want to get one for the friend of mine who found my boat for me to buy. Or do you think I should send him a flaming bag of dog poop? The feller who owned the truck that needed this auxiliary power plant didn't know where his BIL got it at, but it was a gift, so I struck out there. So, if I haven't totally confused everybody, can someone help me with where to find one of these nifty novelties? Thanks

Re: Novelty receiver plug

I was at Cabelas a few weeks ago and saw them there. I looked at them briefly but passed them by with a little chuckle.

Kevin

The local West Marine has the Merc model too. It was kinda funny, but they didn't have a Johnson so I passed. ;) :D

Mercury Marine lists it for $22.95, Cabelas sells it for $19.95. I'll check AutoZone. I've got a friend there and it's been a while since I saw her to say "Hi" anyway. Thanks again guys.
