I used to do my duck hunters years ago but used the Serria(Atom) modules. They worked great on old motors that had worn armature plates...

The old red atom modules worked fine on the OMC magneto ignitions, but they are NLA. The Nova II modules will usually fail in short order. The points and condensers are pretty reliable, and readily available. Why do you want to switch?

Recently been working through inboard distributor options -- wonder if parts from one of those electronic conversion kits could be modified to work with an outboard. (suppose not)
