I think a lot of the manufacturer forums are like that. I spend most of my time in the "boat restoration" forum.

I find myself keeping track of the Yahoo Starcraft groups more that I do this one. Just easier I guess. Probably the same people at each.

I agree... I tend to check in on the brand-specific forum once or twice a week. I check in on the Restoration and motors forums daily...

Just purchased a 1963 Starcraft. 14' with a 25 horse Evinrude. The boat sat for a couple of years outside. I got the motor running and it runs great. I do seem to have a problem with the steering. Any ideas on where I can find some info on the correct type of steering wheel?

Hi Tom - your best bet would be to start a new thread of your own, about your question. For original parts and pictures, this would be the forum to ask. For general restoration questions, I'd post in the Boat Restoration & Building forum, where you'll have a much bigger audience.

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Post your question to the Restoration forum, w/ some pictures, and you'll get a ton of help.
