Re: North texas fishing

My wife and I like fishing Lavon during the week for the peace and quiet. We've had really good luck with the sandies (white bass) just slow trolling rapalas and small Model As. We're still trying to get the hang of finding and catching Crappie. We've picked up a bunch of gar, totally by accident. We usually launch out of Brockdale, 'cuz it's pretty slow over that way during the week - and free to boot! We're more out there to enjoy the outdoors and eat cold fried chicken, LOL.

Have you checked this forum out yet?
