North Georgia Lake Cabin

Can anyone recommend a large (sleep 14+) cabin on a boating lake in North Georgia; preferably North of Lanier. We are looking for something within a two/three hour drive North of the Marietta area.

Don't know of any cabin in particular, but look around the Lake Chatuge area. We've been looking to acquire a lake property, and I really like Chatuge; up in the mountains, good-sized lake, and a lot of business around the lake for groceries, supplies, etc.

Being a realtor in Towns County (Lake Chatuge) I can highly recommend it to you. One of the nicest lakes in the area. Chatuge is a unique mountain lake. Most mountains lakes you have the boxed in feeling. With the lay of the land and the lay of the lake most places on it you don't get that feeling. In fact in someplaces you can see layers of mountains.

As to the vacation rentals one of the best places to check is VBRO.com site.
