Norris Lake 4th of July

I'm heading down to Norris Lake for the first week of July with a bunch of friends, staying at Flat Hollow Marina. What are some good spots to visit around the lake? We took some cruises last year but only stayed to hang out at the dam. I'd like to find some coves to go raft up and hang out during the day.

I live in Knoxville, and Norris is our favorite lake. Of course, Flat Hollow is the opposite side of the wildlife management area, so it is a long nautical mile from where we hang out, but I'm sure it's the same. We are usually around Big Ridge State Park, so we use Hickory Star. Norris is a beautiful, clean lake. Lots of great coves, and hiking trails throughout the WMA.

If you can make sure you make it down before Saturday for fire on the water at Sequoyah Marina. It is a nice time, but if you want to hang out there is a cove about 4-5 coves up North from the Dam on the right side, deep, clean, nice water.
