Normal Water Pressure?

I just installed a water pressure gauge for the first time on my 1986 Evin V6-150. Still have it in the driveway, but at idle i get about 7 psi.<br /><br />What is a normal baseline pressure at idle and WOT for my engine? Thanks in advance!

Pressure at wfo will probably be 18-20psi.

I tried to do some editing to that last message and it sent only part of it. <br />The 7psi at idle is o-k. There are no factory specs for water pressure. The hot ticket is to replace the waterpump now and use that as a baseline. That way, you can monitor waterpump wear.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

The water pump was changed mid july last year... probally has hmm 20 hours on it at the most.<br /><br />(also keep in mind, this is in my driveway using rabbit ears on a garden hose)
