Northern definetly is good. The sales rep I got was very helpful. I ended up with Speed Pro flat top Hypers, Cloyes tru-roller, clevite bearings, brass plugs, victor gaskets, crane cam, crane lifters, crane springs, melling hi cap oil pump, hastings molly rings, etc. etc. $405 to my door in 2 days. Between Northern Auto, E-basic power, and Napa, this boat should be good to go in a few days. Now I just have to figure out the trim system and the 1/2 dozen wines I didn't get labeled properly when I pulled the engine. Looks like my Clymer has a good diagram.

Re: norhern

Not a question a statment. The man went from not knowing what to do,to a complete motor rebuild with the help from the people on this board. Now he is going on to other things (most of us will try to do things our self if we can ask a question or 2,3,4). If you can turn a socket you can do it just sometimes you need a push. Also, just telling us where he got some super cheep quality parts. Northern RULES (I dont work for them. It just tickels me pink when I find someone or a Co I can trust.)<br />Update us when you get your motor done. Cant wait!
