NorEaster Trailer

I'm trying to title/register a 1992 NorEaster trailer in NY but the title is from MA.The title does not have the weight of the trailer on it,so DMV will not let me register it.Anyone have any info. on Noreaster Trailers,I cant find anything about them. The trailer is still in MA. along with a boat I just bought in MA. The good folks in the DMV here told me to take it to a state weigh station,when I told them the trailer was in in MA. and it was not registered so it did'nt have a plate,they told me that was my problem. No weight,no regi. Any ideas ? thanks-ron-homeflyr

How big of a trailer Is it,..??..?......

Here in NY,..... You only need a Certified Weight Ticket.....

The last trailer I built,.... I went to a Moving Company,+ had them weigh 1 wheel of my Truck on their Scale,......
That gave me a "Certified Weight Ticket" that said the Trailer weighed 786lbs........
That's what it's registered as............

Btw,........It's Much Cheaper to licence it at Under 1000lbs,...... And you can avoid some of the Other Restrictions placed on Heavier trailers.......
