So my uncle has this old lonestar boat with a 1963 rude big twin 40 hp outboard that has been sitting for few years, he said it ran great when put away. We want to get it back on the water but also don't want to put a ton of money into since it will only be used few times a year. What should I be checking and doing before trying to run it? It has good compression, one plug has good spark other one no spark(hopefully just needs a new wire) drained the oil out of the bottom end, but other than that I don't know what else to do, before hookin the gas tank to it and a barrel of water, just don't want to damage it more any help is great!!
