I have searched(iboats, google, yahoo) but I have not tubed or skied in forever and would like to know where or how to attach the tow rope to the boat. It's probably obvious but I would like to be sure instead of way wrong.
Thanks

ETA It's an I/O

Since it's an I/O, there's more than likely an eyelet centered on the aft end of the boat somewhere.

If you don't have one of those, you might have the older "U-Bolt" style. I just use a carabiner to clip the rope into my tow ropes.

I like to double the rope over the 'biner so that there's more surface area of the rope, to keep to from wearing out as quickly.

I'll probably replace the U-Bolt with the newer style eyelet, when I've got an extra $20 laying around.

I got one of the ski rope harness things by airhead at walmart for ten bucks. Attatches to the stern tie downs looks like a big Y

Ditto,
the tie-downs on the transom work for me

Replaced the U-Hook with an eyelet. LOVE IT! Worth every penny of $26 I spent for it.
