non vro and type q plug

I have a 1973 Johnson 50, I bought type q plugs later to find that there for vro engines. will this effect anything?

QL77JC4 will work just fine and are recommended. I would gap them at .040 for better idle and low speed operation...

those plugs are a .030 gap, if that will give me better idle and low speed , how will it effect wot

It won't affect it at all. The wider gap just gives you a better burn at lower RPM's...
