Hey all - I'm really sorry if I'm posting in the incorrect location but I couldn't really find a general spot that felt relevant.
I used to run non-oxy in my motorcycle for years which served me well. Not sure if it was just luck or the gas but after 8 years on the bike I never had to clean the carbs and it just seemed to run better. Now - I'm curious whether I should take the same approach with my boats. Typically they recommend non-oxy for small engines but I've heard of positive results from using it in vehicles as well. Being in MN they actually mandate any vehicle owners to NOT use non-oxy in their cars but for recreational vehicles it is approved (Thanks MN for even telling me what gas I can/cannot use).
Does anyone have any experience running them in their boats or does anyone have an opinion on the topic? Interested in the replies. Thanks as usual!
For reference I have an 80hp Merc Outboard on my V-154 and a Merc 140 on my V-164.
