Noisy volvo SX drive

I have a 2006 Seaswirl with a 3.0 L volvo with a SX drive when I trim it up in shallow channel seems very loud to me.I have asked the dealer where I bought it he said this is normal.Is this true?

It is just stress on the u-joint (bellows)

Yes it's normal. It's the ujoints complaining about the sever angle. Keep the rpms below 1200 when trimmed too high.
