Can only get 4200 rpm's when I go full throttle and starts up fine. Had a few misses when I first ran it but it cleared up, then next day only 4200 rpm's. I had just changed the plugs and water seperator filter. I stabilzed but no ethanol treatment in my gas. Could it be electical or carbs ? Any help appreciated, Thanks !

Did you ever get the full 5150 to 5850 RPM? If the motor was misfiring, and you changed plugs, still could be a lot of things, including junk in a carb or 2. Is it misfiring now? What do the plugs look like?

When I first ran it it missed a liitle but went up to 5700 (my WOT) and quit missing, was running good. The next day only 4200 rpms but no missing and started up fine. Got home and the new plugs looked good, no problem there. Almost wondering if a fuel pump/pressure issue.

Your motor needs a proper diagnosis. I would either pull out the Factory service manual and go through it, or take it to a dealer. Did you get any warning buzzer or lamp?

A miss can be caused by so many things that any idea would be a WAG...But, you have a 90% chance it's a fuel system issue so start looking there first.
