No throttle in reverse

Changed throttle and shift cables. I have forward and reverse, shifts fine. I have no throttle in reverse. Had some throttle in reverse before changing. If I push the neutral button, I have plenty of throttle when I move the handle back. I have adjusted the cable forward and back with no results. Sure could use some suggestions on what to look at next.

I got it. Even after taking pictures of the cables before removing , I still put the shift cable in the wrong location. Swapped and it works as before.
