No start condition on '80 Evinrude E25Elci

I was prepairing my boat to take out on the lake and I was starting my motor like I always do before I drove down to the lake and it started like normal and ran for about 15-20 seconds when it just stopped running and I have not been able to restart the motor since. So far I've replaced the spark plugs and checked for spark, there is some spark but I don't know if there is enough voltage there to combust the fuel. I also checked the fuel filter and it was fine and I also replaced the fuel with a fresh mix and I also checked the fuel line and it seems to be fine. when I pull the plugs they are wet with gas, I've even treid starting fluid and it would run for a few seconds then quit. Well, this was all that I know mechincally so far other than checking the coil packs for OHMS and voltage which I'm unfilmiar with the specs.

I am having a similiar problem with my 81 35hp<br />2 cyl. evinrude. Mine is hard starting but will start with new plugs. It will idle for about 5<br />seconds and die, just like turning off the ignition. However, if I immediately shift it into<br />forward or reverse it runs until switching off the ignition or placing the shifter in to nuetral.<br />There appears to be a nuetral start switch that<br />may be causing my problem. Hope this helps.<br />If any one else has any input please post ideas.
