Hi fellow marine tech here first time working with a force product. My problem is no spark all cylinders. First what year is this I was told when I bought it was a 94 Model #1201x92a ser # 024172. I bought a seloc manual and dont find it tech specs very good! First i need resistance due to I have removed it from engine. But when it was hooked up I only got 60 volts @ cranking with a full battery. The manual told me to look for high and low speed restance checks. Only problem is it told me to go from blue to red and I got open , then it told me to go from red to black stator lead and there is no black stator wire so I almost positive its a bad stator with only 60 vdc at cranking but if anyone has restance specs for bench tests I sure woul be thankfull thanks R.Coyle

Re: no spark

First off, welcome to iboats.

Second, you have a 1992"A" model, not a '94.

Sorry, I don't have any specs for you, as I'm sitting in a hotel room and the manuals are all at home.

These stators failed regularly, and the aftermarket replacements had several different wiring configurations. Is the stator red, or black.

Will be home in a few days and will try to look up specs for you, unless someone else does first.

Re: no spark

Hey guys i just wanted to say thanks for your help while doing ohms test i found red wire would make and break continuity when wiggling it, also tear in insulation at the base of stator with some corrosion and green dust. So ty again everyone!!
