well its a 1993 WRIII is there a way to check a the CDI or Coil. or could it be something else

probably a bad kill switch up on the handlebars those short out and kill the ignition, unplug it and see if you get spark

clean all the ground wires to the engine and electrical box and coil and the wires from the stator cover, but the switch is known for shorting out

ill try and see, but i had it running before now no spark, but i know sometimes when i lift the hood up and try to start it nothing happens, but thes is a green connector, that when i mash it alltile it will let me start it .

wires go bad on old skies and pin connectors corrode so start there and see if the conections are bad

well got it running again, now i have a ot of oil coming out the ski plate. what could be the problem, the coolant hose under the plate is not conected to the prop (jet pump) but looks like oil coming out of it. alot of oil

if it's old black looking oil it's just residual from the exhaust system burnt and discarded oil, hook up the hose then put dish soap in to the flush hose and run the engine on the hose to wash out all the old oil in the system
