I have a 1969 Johnson V-115 HP that does not seem to want to spark at all.

I had to replace the wires to the sensor under the flywheel as they were bare in some spots and green all the way through.

I have tested sensor and it is showing 5.8 Ohms as per my manual as well I have checked the rectifer and it tests all normal as far as my manual as well.

The sensor is at the proper gap along with new plugs. There seems to be nothing coing out of the coil. I tried a couple of tests that I have read about here on the pulse (power) pack and but do not have the test equipment to do as my manual says. The safety switch seems to test okay as far as my manual says with the exception of the fact that the manual I have shows 3 wires from the safety switch and the one on my motor has 4.

The one thing that I did find was the purple(black stripe) wire that goes to the pulse(power) pack was attached to terminal 9 when my manual says it should be at terminal 7. I switched this and still have no spark.

Any ideas from here would be appreciated.

Thanks
