No spark in Cylider 1, 3 or 5

I have a 115 inline six. late 80s. the serial number is 4888608. I have redone everything to the boat and now finally got to the motor. Went to try to srart it up and there is not spark in clyinders 1 3 or 5. I think it might be the swtich box but not sure. Is there any way to tell? the P/N on it is 322 7778A1. i have tryed to find that part on the mecury site but no part number was found. Any one know if i have the right part number? any ideas?

the crowleymarine website will have the correct parts listing. Serial number on the maxrules web site will give year of the motor.

Normally cylinders 1,3,5 share a switchbox. So that is likely candidate......

Chris is right on....Switch Box...Buy Mallory............half the price of Merc and made in Germany......

Does anyone know if the part endinf in a differnt A-- would be the same as mine ending in a A01

I mean that A01 just indicates first production of the part, A02 next production of the same part and so on,not quite sure,maybe others here can confirm this
