No Spark can someone help me out

i've got a 89 glastron with a 3.0 alpha one motor with the ddis on it. can't get her to fire up. tried checking kill switch-ok, what else should i check for? has anyone had to change their control unit box? Just cant seem to get spark do you think maybe pick up or coil? PLEASE HELP!!

the guy i got the boat off of told me it's an 89 and says so on boat, do you think its a different motor put in?
