no spark 1983 evinrude 150 v6

Hi all...I am having a spark problem. I have one cylinder that will not spark and one with weak spark, both on the same side (mid and lower cylinders) of the engine. Plugs, wires, coils seem good. I am thinking powerpack next? What do you guys think.....Thanks...

Your engine has dual power packs. Swap them and see if the problem moves to the other head. If it does, replace the bad pack.

you can also swap out out coils to see if the problem follows to the good power pack side.

the reason to go ahead and get a $30 DVA adapter and properly test your electronics is because you may have another component that is causing other components to fail, hence you may have 2 or 3 components that should be replaced. it is a cheap and easy way to reduce your chances of getting stranded because of ignition failure.
