After reading numerous posts, I was able to resolve my no spark issue.
1. purchased engine manual
2. purchased dva meter
3. downloaded cdi troubleshooting guide
Found 90 dva volts between the brown and brown-yellow wires while connected to the powerpack...needed 150+ dva volts
Disconnected brown and brown-yellow wires and re-checked dva voltage...exceeded 150 dva volts
Determined powerpack was the issue...replaced powerpack
Why did the powerpack fail?...found intermittent 2-9 volts on the black-yellow wire
Replaced key switch
Engine is running fine so far and I am confident in my ability to troubleshoot my ignition system
Thank you
