no spark 115 mariner.please help.

have a1997 mariner 115hp no spark.racking my brain to find it i think it is something easy.i had spark until i took the carbs off to clean.now i have nothing.cant find a wire off anywhere.unless there is one running underneath.any help would be great.thanks bob.

Check the wiring coming down from the stator to the switch boxes. If your 115hp looks about like mine it is covered in wire on the right side. I lost spark due to the switch boxes going south this winter. cost me $370.00 for 2 new boxes and 2 weeks of trouble shooting it. Check the plug in coming back from the remote control box also it may have come undone from working in tight quarters with the carbs and check all ground wires also.
