I have a 2000 90hp 2 stroke Merc,had it for 3 years and it has always smoked pretty good. I cleaned the carbs,checked fuel pump and replaced fuel lines and took it to the lake to test. The engine ran fine after minor carb adjustments but no smoke. No fuel or oil lines are pinched,plenty of oil in tank. Any Ideas?

Mix gas and oil at 50:1 untill you verify that the pump is delivering the correct amount of oil.------Do a test of the oil injection pump.

How would you go about testing oil injection system? Could sitting through the winter have any effect on the oil injection?
