I have a 97’ pontoon with a bf50a push to choke ignition which has worked great. I went out on it and it ran great. I think I blew a fuse to the ignition switch and radio. Well my buddy who came out to help was no help. He actually made me In Worse shape. He started undoing my bullet connectors on my ignition for some reason and now I think I’m in worse shape then I was. Right now I have the red, black and yellow/black disconnected from everything. The problem is I don’t think it’s the original wiring and there are lots of options to plug into.

One option to plug into is a black/red-> then splits to a empty black red(anything suppose to be connected to end? ) and then the other connection goes into boat.

Another option to plug into has a green, blue and white& black cable.

Another option is a black and white cord

also have options for a green/black and a another gray.

Currently the two purples are connected, the yellow and yellow and black, one black has a cap over it and one red is connected to radio. It’s a shi* show in there.

After I get this figured out. What size fuse should I be using? Waiting to hear back from mechanic but haven’t got any progress on that. Thanks for any help.

I have pics if it helps

BF50a has a fuse located in a small white housing on the front of the engine. With the top off, looking at the front, it's just to the left of the top of the starter.
