No power. No trim. Motor acts like battery is dead even though it has a full charge

When I turn the key on my 2001 rude ram nothing happens lights on the dash won't come on nothing. Checked all the fuses they are good I'm lost as to what could be the issue. I've put test lights on different wires and not all my wires have power going to them is it the main relay or the EMM that could be the problem

Sunday my uncle and I fished a tournament we ran up River about 10 miles fished a few spots. When we came back down the River we stopped at a spot while coming down off plain there was no trim. After we got stopped we tried all 3 buttons and nothing worked. So we started fishing to hopefully get a limit and then work on the trim problem to move to some other spots. After about 30 minutes we tried to get the trim to work but no luck. So we were going to idle to a back channel to get close to the ramp and nothing would work when we turned the key. Removed the cowling and checked all the fuses everything was good I removed a relay and plugged it back In everything kicked on so we idled to the dock. And shut it down. We tried to do that again and nothing happened.

So, you checked all fuses, right? Sounds like you might have missed one. Don't know what motor you have, but look near the starter solenoid for a black twist-apart fuse holder.

It's a 2001 Evinrude Rude Ram 225. I checked all the fuses at the PDP the 20amp inline fuse and the inline fuses next to the battery

Just a tip from an electrician. Take a meter and ring out your fuses. Sometimes they become screwed up where you can't see it and you will put them back in thinking they are good, and they are not. I've been caught by this before in the field

You probably have an intermittent cracked / cold solder joint on the PDP. When you pulled the relay, and pressed it back in, you caused such joint to "make connection" again long enough to start and run for a short time.

Get a schematic of the PDP, and go thru EVERY circuit, point to point, on the PDP with the ohmmeter's continuity function. If you find an open between two points that should be connected, push on the PDP, flex it a bit, and see if that open now becomes closed.

I can step you thru repairs if you find a problem, but will wait to post such procedure until we know for sure.

So i think I found a bad solder it's on the pdp down around the trim down relay. Would this still cause the power not to turn on

Hard to know unless you can say precisely which circuit ts on, so just re solder it and see if that fixes it
