Just got our head machined put everything together and everything worked great for about the first two hours.now we can't get the boat to go over 10 mph.engine still revs up like it should but seems like the powers not getting to the outdrive, and its really hard to get it back into neutral once you have it in forward or reverse. This is in a 3.0l omc cobra. Any advice would be great.

sounds like your prop is slipping. That's where I would start, as long as the engine isn't missing or anything else. Check the oil level in the outdrive as well.

Could be the prop needs rehubbed. Or the coupler is slipping.
The not shifting from F/R that's probably the shift interrupt module or the switch itself.
Start motor in the water, keep tied to dock or keep on the trailer, get back to the interrupt switch and manually operate it.
It should kill or make the motor stumble when you hit the switch.
