No power at ignition swithch 225 Optimax

I have a 2005 225 optimax and it stopped while running. Found no power to the red lead wire at the key switch. Hot wired power to this wire and everything worked properly. Where do I look for the fix?

The should be a fuse near the starter solinoid on the engine.

Or possibly a loose or corroded pin at the main canon plug connecting the motor wiring to the boat wiring harness.

Check the fuse first.
