No Plugs, No Where

[Riptide]

Now that I know my 3hp Jhonson Sea-Horse is a 1964 model, I am having trouble locating my plugs. It calls for Champion J4J gapped at .030 wile the points are set at .020, I have been to 2 boat dealers in my area & the Champion web site. No such type is found, the following goes for AC M42K & the autolite A21X. these plugs are not showing up. A friend at Napa Auto parts crossed the Autolite A21X to an Autolite 353 but the plugs look longer than the Champion J8J,s that were in the motor when I got it. I am in a state of Hummmm. Hi Riptide<br />Champion dicontinued the j4j some time ago.They replaced it with J4C. I haven't had any trouble getting them.
