Re: No more bearing problems.

Hi Tom, How ya doin? Welcome to the board. I'm traveling from Wausau to Milw tomorrow and need an update on the road construction. I know about 10, and 110, and 13, and the mess around Milw, but what about 21. I heard there was a detour in the area, but no specifics. I would like to take 21 across from 51 to 41. Is it clear or detoured.

As for the bearings, I wanted to put them on my trailer, but always feared I might smack one on a log or rock on a Canadian logging "road". Then I would be up a trail without a mule. Maybe when I stop venturing into the wilderness.

I make my bearings too.

The axle bearings aren't much trouble to make, but it's the muffler bearings I'm still having trouble with.

H.

Roscoe
Don't think you got this in time, but yes highway 21 is detoured from 49 to county K. If you're not familiar with the area, just follow the detour. You won't lose much time-sorry.
As for Rogue 1, check out www.liqualube.com, it tells all about this great product!

Roscoe
Almost forgot-Liqua-lube makes a cover for the hub if towing on gravel or bad roads. Have only sold one set-the guy pulls alot on gravel in Canada. The hubs are made of a really thick material-they will take alot, but for added protection, get the covers. Check them out also at www.liqualube.com

Thanks Gone Again. I am familiar with the Liqualube set up, but never knew about the covers. I'll have to check them out.

As far as the detour, it didn't matter. My passenger had to make a last minute stop in Madison.
