NO MODEL #, NEED PARTS

I HAVE A LATE 70'S 15HP EVINRUDE. NO MODEL # OR SERIAL #, AND I NEED PARTS. SPECIFFICALLY A BEARING CARRIER ASSEMBLY FOR LOWER UNIT. THE OLD ONE IS STAMPED 322287,BUT MY LOCAL DEALER WOULDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO FIND IF IT HAS BEEN SUPERCEDED BY NEW #, JUST THAT THIS ONE IS NOT VALID.

First off it is impossible for me to really give you positive parts info with out a model#. Look on your engine blogk for a welch plug. This is an aluminium plug about the size of a quarter. you should find a model and ser# on it. The Part# for the bearing carrier/gearcase head for the late 70's 9.9-15hp is 388276 this # supercedes to 433403.

Just as a supplement to Alcan's info, the part number on my 1983 15HP Evinrude is also 388276.
