I have a Mercruiser 5.0 Bravo on a 2005 Sea Ray 300. recently i had a infrequent no restart issue on the Starboard engine which was also running to rich. So i went to replace the fuel pressure regulator on removing the second of the two screws I broke it in the cover, forcing me to have to replace the fuel pump cover. Upon removing the cover I replaced the high and low pressure fuel pumps as well. (problem) once i put everything back together the low pressure pump is not drawing fuel from the tank. the engine only runs when i pour fuel into the fuel filter. It will then run and shut down once it sucks it dry. it wont draw any fuel from the tank. I am about to remove the entire Fuel module to try and reassemble it away from the engine and then reconnect it, but before i start this big project I wanted some input. Please

You might repost this in the Mercruiser forum. You will get good advice from those guys and gals...
