Wife and I were fishing boat was running fine after launching and fishing in gulf for about an hour went to move but motor would not fire I have a Mercury 60 hp outboard and I believe it is a 1988. I have been told it is probably the stator and comments I am a beginner but want to do work myself can anyone help
