Hi,

After last weekend of fun something happened with my boat :)
Electric power just disappeared. No power on tilt&trim switch as well as in ignition.
Battery is new and fully charged. Is there any place in the engine with fuses?

Can anyone help me?

Regards,
zubolmichal

You have a couple of circut breakers (under the cowl)on that motor. You have a fuse inline(I believe)Someplace in the system.Get a test light and hook it to a good ground and start looking.J

Don't know if it's standard or not, but I have an inline fuse just as the hot leaves the battery and two under the dash.

Your engine should have a black circuit breaker on the left side under the rectifier. There is a reset tab on the top of the breaker. You can reset it and see if it stays reset. These circuit breakers weaken with age and do need replacing.

Thank you for your answer, but could you please describe me where I can localize the rectifier?

Cheers,

Hi, This is just a basic thought, I know the neutral detent on your controller is hardly noticable. Make sure you are in neutral.

I dont think the tilt/trim power or signals have anything to do with the elctrical system in the engine. That should be a couple of relays powered off of the battery so if you lost everything, I'd look for a master fuse or breaker that must have been tripped. When you find it, even if it can be reset or you replace the fuse, hunt around for a potential cause of the trip so it doesnt happen again, perhaps at a less opportune time!

check the connections at the battery first and then work your way out from there, might have a loose connection to loose all power like that
