Every year since I can remember I have gone out and bought a Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving. Well, as usual I took off Friday to start the ritual. Drove all over town and not one tree to be found. Imagin that. I dont want an artificial tree, but if something doesnt give soon I guess ill have to buy one, or go out and cut down one of my neighbors ceder trees (and they dont look to sporty since the storm). Never thought about not being able to buy a Christmas Tree.

Alot of the trees sold here come from up north. When are yall comin?????

Wow we have had a great tree season! They are all cut and available for sale around here. I have no idea why they have not hit your area yet but I am sure they will be available. I do know the prices have risen and with the fuel costs maybe people have cut back.

Bob

Re: No Christmas Trees????

There's supposed to be a surplus of 'em this year...at least that's what they said on the news. I just got a 9' tree for $15. :D 'Course, I had to chop it down and drag it to the truck. For a little while I was thinking about taking a truckload of them down to my shop in Costa Mesa for $100 each. :)

I used to live on a tree farm...as far as I'm concerned plastic trees should be illegal.

We have no more trees in Oregon, all we have is a big desert, sand dunes everywhere. Dang loggers anyway. OZ must have got one from washington, I here they still have a few trees left.

We just put up our "plastic" tree today. Looks great, as usual. I hope you can find the "real tree" of your choice, but get something up...that's what counts.

Lots of tree farms surrounding me.
The trucks have been rolling for a couple weeks.

I hope they are not avoiding the storm hit areas for fear of not having a market.

I could FedEx one to you.
Need to know size and type, natural, or sheared. :)

Could have the neighbor bundle up an entire pallet of trees and send it out on an ABF truck.
