Nmea 2k to yamaha 115

I will start off by saying I know very little when it come to nmea 2k. Picking up a boat with a 2017 yamaha 115 motor. What I am looking for is to display rpm, fuel burned, and gph. Since I don't have room to install a nmea 2k chartplotter. I am looking at small multi function displays. The two that I found is a simrad is35 and garmin gmi20. Would these accomplish showing the engine data that I want? Is there any other similar displays I should be looking at? Also from what I understand I need to purchase yamaha interface cable, would I still need to buy a starter kit as well?

If your motor isnt NMEA compliant, you need a gateway, fuel flow meter and a bunch of wiring
