I have a 1997 Nitro 700 LX and have no power to navigation lights, or bilge pumps. I checked the fuses and double checked the wiring to the battery. Any ideas?
Look for a bad ground. Pull wires off and wire brush them, also wiggle them real good on the ends. The wiggling is to see if the end comes off because of corrosion.
If the nitro has a master switch also check that switch and look with in 6" of the battery for a breaker (black box with red button). Its probably a ground as alldodge has pointed out but if all the accessorys are not working then it may be the switch or main feed to the fuse panel. Wally world sells volt meters for under $15 which would be a good investment for this problem and any in the future. I have included a link to the sticky section where it shows how to use a meter and how to fix problems like the ones you are having http://forums.iboats.com/electrical...how-tos-other-helpful-information-583533.html
