I am wanting to replace an Evinrude 35HP("84 Model) with a Nissan 40HP. I would appreciate any information either "pro" or "con" on this brand of outboard. Thanks....Dan
drod53,<br /><br />1. They have a great reputation.<br />2. They are inexpensive.<br />3. Service and parts are SCARCE-depending upon where you are.<br />4. Older technology-but reliable. They are one and the same as Tohatsu.
